Sean is the most recent addition to the regular fold, joining Orchid-Star in 2008, playing bongos, djembe, darbouka and congas. Sean and Pete were already friends from frequently being booked to DJ at the same event and Sean was also drumming for Native Horizon when they asked Orchid-Star's Jon Bongly to play with them too so it seemed only polite to do the same thing with Sean!
Sean has been DJing Chill Out music since the summer of 2007 and Progressive Trance since late 2009, playing for Planet Bob, One Tribe, Acid Monkey, One Soul and Electribe and UK and international festivals.

Well, it reflects my love of sailing and is a word that describes storm blown spray from a wave top….” On the chilled side his style ranges from ambient and psy-chill to world beat, jazz and latin, with music from the likes of Shpongle, Seb Taylor, Aes Dana, H.U.V.A. Network, CBL, Lemon Grass, Eat Static et al. On the Prog side his style is funky and uplifting reflecting his appreciation of artists on Iboga, Blue Room and Iono Records.
“I’ve had a love of music from an early age and was heavily influenced by my mother’s classical collection. I fell in love with the amazing sound-scapes of Vaughan Williams, I like music that touches my heart and this reflects on my choice of tracks when I play.
On more than one occasion when the stage had no room for drummers Sean has been invited instead to finish off an Orchid-Star gig with a barnstorming dance set
