Award-winning Australian opera diva Samanta Ray is the long-distance relationship in Orchid-Star - still always regarded as one of the core members of the group regardless of whether she can be in the same country to gig with them.
Sam met Pete when recording at Pink Hampster for his long-time client's The Ott Band and he instantly fell in love with her voice. Before she went back to Oz she had recorded the stunning vocals on 'Chatoyant' on Pete's 'Aria' album and those for the as yet non-existant Orchid-Star's 'Passion'

Back home Sam is in big demand at the gala occasions, ceremonies, banquets for the rich and infamous etc.
Sam and Pete have started this year on a new project which will allow them both to span their classical and electronic styles.
